The Tuberculosis vaccine is called Bacillie Camette-Guerin or (BCG) for short. The TB vaccine was developed over a period of 13 years from 1908-1921. The vaccine was developed by French bacteriologists Albert Calmette and Camille Guerin. TB killed more than 50% of people that where infected, approximately one million people, before the vaccine was developed.
